  • to utilize sustainable design to help improve building performance
  • to prepare College of Education students to adapt to changing instructional formats and technologies
outcomes-based design RESULTS
  • The design successfully complements the Spanish Mission-style architecture of the campus’s first buildings.
  • A team of multidisciplinary professionals engaged in an intense, simultaneous programming and design effort that enabled us to meet the client’s one-year design schedule.
  • The building has been LEED Certified. Based on detailed estimates, it is calculated that the 1.5% premium in construction cost will be paid back in energy and water savings within 6.5 years.
  • The facility includes three experimental “classrooms of the future” where new instructional technologies and methodologies are developed and tested.
